Our History
Words of Wisdom Chaplaincy founder Chaplain Hare Varnon has been a servant for over 30 years. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, who joined the Army Reserves on October 1, 1984. Chaplain Varnon served his country and facilitated training in Kuwait, Jordan, BDSC, Qatar, UAE, Iraq, and Afghanistan and retired in 2022 from the U.S. Army Reser

After retirement, Chaplain Varnon founded Words of Wisdom Chaplaincy in 2022. With a heart to help and support people, he wants to bring that heart to the workplace.
